Dr Aleksandar Todorović

Aleksandar Todorović, PhD, was born in 1989 in Kikinda, where he finished his primary and secondary education.

Attorney at law Aleksandar Todorović graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad in 2012. After graduating, Aleksandar Todorović aquired a master’s degree from the same university, defending his master’s thesis under the name “ Significant Disadvantage as Admissibility Criterion Before the European Court of Human Rights”.  After finishing the master’s programme he enroled into the doctoral programme at the Faculty of Law at the Univesity of Novi Sad.

He acquired his doctoral degree at the Faculty of Law at the university of Novi Sad, defending his doctoral thesis under the name “ Principle of Subsidiarity in the Jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights“. He participated in multiple international conferences and published papers in his homecountry and internationally, primarily focusing on the topics of human rights.

Atty. Aleksandar Todorović is a member of the Commission for analysing EU regulations for the legal profession for the Bar Association of Vojvodina and the president of the Commission for monitoring the rights of persons under any form of detention for the Bar Association of Vojvodina.

Atty. Aleksandar Todorović is the editor-in-chief of the Gazette of the Bar Association of Vojvodina, one of the oldest law magazines in Serbia.

Aleksandar Todorović is fluent in English.
